Don Robson will present an All Media International best of show solo exhibition titled “The Space In Between” in the Walter Piehl Gallery at the Northwest Arts Center on the campus of Minot State University in North Dakota. The show runs Oct. 10 - Nov. 23. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Seward is the site of the 2024 Central Conference softball tournament today. First-round games start at 9 a.m. Seward plays Highway 6, a co-op of Holdrege and Adams Central, at 9. The second round of play starts at 10:45 a.m. Semifinals are at 12:30 p.m., with the championship game at 2:15 p.m. All games will be played at the Plum Creek Park Four-plex.
Memorial Health Care Systems will host a flu shot clinic Thursday, Oct. 3, from 1-2 p.m. at the Milford Senior Center. You can download the flu vaccine form at www.mhcs.us to bring with you. You should also bring your insurance card.
The Seward Memorial Library will host line dancing classes Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Jacki Mason will demonstrate new steps as well as dance to some old favorites. Line dancing continues through Nov. 14.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets weekly on Thursdays at the Living Word Church, 1300 Hillcrest, south door. TOPS is a weight management support group. Weigh-in begins at 11:15 a.m. and the meetings are from noon to 12:30 p.m. The initial meeting is free.

The funeral service for Linda Lehr will be Thursday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Saint Louis. Interment will following at Concordia Cemetery.
