The Seward Post 33 ZKE Storage seniors beat ETC 13-5 July 17. Reggie Sukup and Conner Matzke had two hits each, and Sukup, Ryley Hain and Cale Gardiner each had two RBIs. Up next for Seward is the area tournament, which starts July 26.
The Malcolm Legion juniors, defending Class C state champions, will start their state tournament run Saturday, July 20, at 10 a.m. against Ord. The state tournament this year is at Felber Park in Hartington.
