Gene and Karol Fitzgerald will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary this week.
They were married in Colo, Iowa, on June 6, 1959. Gene and Karol enjoyed raising their family in Seward and later moved to Wichita, Kansas, to be closer to their kids and their families.
